Parent Education Series: District to host three Parent Engage 360 events in 2023-24

Anoka-Hennepin is hosting three Parent Engage 360 community and parent education events during the 2023-24 school year. These events aim to provide resources for parents and guardians to support their students and others in the community.

Crooked Lake teacher Kerri Deile named KS95 Teacher of the Week
(05/25/2023) A teacher in Anoka-Hennepin for 17 years, Kerri Deile of Crooked Lake Elementary School, has been selected as KS95 Teacher of the Week. She accepted the award in front of her kindergarten classroom.

Proposed Andover cluster boundaries presented at Sept. 22 community meeting
(09/23/2022) Anoka-Hennepin Schools presented proposed attendance area maps and collected community feedback at a community meeting held Sept. 22 at Andover High School. No attendance boundary changes are proposed for schools in the Andover cluster.

Anoka-Hennepin high school graduation rates increase, continue to outperform state average for the 2023 school year
(03/28/2024) Graduation rates for students in the Anoka-Hennepin School District increased for 2023 and continue to outperform the state average, graduating 86.7% of all seniors in four-years.

Annual elementary art fair runs April 2-11 at Northtown Mall
(03/28/2024) Anoka-Hennepin’s annual elementary art fair will be on display at Northtown Mall in Blaine from April 2-11 during mall hours. Art teachers across the district have selected works for display that can be viewed in the rotunda near the Becker Furniture store.

Special Education Advisory Council Resource Information Night set for April 4
(03/27/2024) The Anoka-Hennepin Schools Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) is hosting a resource information night on Thursday, April 4 for families of students with special needs to learn about resources available in the community.

After-school and evening activities canceled for Tuesday, March 26, 2024, afternoon transportation schedules modified
(03/26/2024) Due to changing weather and road conditions impacting travel throughout the afternoon and early evening hours, the district is making adjustments to afternoon schedules for the safety of students and staff.
